Functional Training

Functional training is a type of exercise that mimics or prepares the body for the sports. It can improve strength, balance, coordination and proprioception injury prevention. Functional training involves using multiple muscles and joints at the same time, which increases oxygen consumption and calories.

Recovery Training

Post-surgery training is crucial for several reasons: It enhances the healing process by promoting blood flow to the surgical areas. It helps regain strength, flexibility, and endurance. It minimizes the risk of re-injury or complications. It maximizes the functional outcome of surgery.

Neuro Muscular Electro Stimulation Training

Neuro Muscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES) is frequently used to strengthen the healthy muscles. On NMES five essential parameters define the nature and quantity of the work which will be imposed on the recruited muscle fibers during the stimulation session, and they are:

1.- Electric pulse.

2.- Pulse frequency.

3.- Duration of contraction.

4.- Duration of rest.

5.- Number of repetitions.
